In January 2025, two SSE teachers conducted a special class on the theme of Christmas for six children and three parents from the community. Held on the eve of Orthodox Christmas, the session aimed to help children understand that God’s love is ever-present and unconditional.
The children were introduced to the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The teachers shared the tale of the wise men, shepherds, animals, and plants that bore witness to this sacred event. Inspired by the story, everyone joyfully sang a Christmas song. The class also reflected on Sathya Sai Baba’s teaching, “Think good, speak good, do good, and be good.”
Touched by this message, the children expressed their desire to follow Jesus’ example by performing good deeds, loving their parents, and caring for their pets.
The session also included a creative workshop where participants crafted angel figurines. After the class, teachers and parents gathered to discuss the children’s development and outline plans for future sessions. The teachers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Swami for the opportunity to take part in the Educare process, guiding young hearts toward love, goodness, and faith.
