On February 3, 2024, members from the Sai Prashanti Center in Bangkok joined members from the Sri Sathya Sai Centers of Maesai and Bandu and traveled to the Maesalong’s tribal area to plant a thousand saplings along a paved road. Sai Volunteers worked for three days to pave the road and dig holes deep enough to plant the saplings. Altogether, 45 children and teachers participated in the tree planting. After the tree planting, lunch and ice cream were distributed to all participants, and devotional bhajans were sung for an hour. Rice packets were distributed to 45 families after the bhajans were sung.
