SSE students from Scotch Plains and Central New Jersey assembled 100 backpacks filled with school supplies for homeless youth served by the Covenant House, which supports young people facing homelessness, abuse, and other serious challenges. The initiative, organized by Sai Group members in August 2024, involved students aged 12 to 18 and aimed to provide encouragement and practical support to their peers in need. Volunteers reflected on the meaningful impact of their service, while the Covenant House expressed deep gratitude, noting the backpacks offered both essential tools and a message of hope and value to the youth.
