Over 200 participants, including artists worldwide, attended the fourth Peace Conference held at the Center for Peace in Southeastern Israel during February 13 – 15, 2023. Spiritual leaders of different faiths – Jewish Rabbis, Muslim and Druze Sheiks, and Christian priests – discussed peace from their faith’s viewpoint. The conference also included personal sharing, workshops, group discussions, musical and theatrical performances, and a meditative walk in the beautiful desert.

The audience was introduced to Sri Sathya Sai Baba and the mission of Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO), Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV), and the role of the five universal human values of truth, righteousness, love, peace, and non-violence in promoting world peace.

Some memorable highlights included moving testimony by six Ukrainian students living at the Center. They were refugees of the war, and they discussed how their fears and uncertainties had evolved into compassion. A Turkish lecturer and her students recounted their touching experience of brotherhood and harmony among Jews and Arabs during the recent humanitarian relief efforts following a destructive earthquake.

All talks delivered in Hebrew were translated into English, Arabic, and Russian languages. Sai literature in Hebrew was also distributed.
