From April 1 to 9, 2023, the SSSIO of Kazakhstan held the 36th Kazakhstan Volunteer Camp, during which Sai centers and groups organized service projects within their locale. SSSIO members from Almaty cleaned and landscaped the area around a country house and planted seedlings. They also provided hot meals, personal hygiene products, and clothing to people in need.
SSSIO members from Aktau cleaned up the coast along the Caspian Sea, collecting plastic, glass, and garbage that would have endangered beautiful seagulls.
The SSSIO groups of Rudny and Shchuchinsk provided vegetarian home-cooked food to the needy in their cities.
Sai volunteers in Astana distributed food and generously provided the needy with household items such as mattresses, blankets, linen, kitchen appliances, clothing, toys, and grocery items.
In Kostanay, a low-income family was given food. In Semey, another low-income family was provided food and clothes. All volunteers were gratified that the recipients accepted their service with love and thanks.
