The Sathya Sai School in Lagos serves 203 children from nursery to Class 6. On 14th March 2019, about 155 primary school children and 12 staff members from the School participated in the first Walk for Values, raising public awareness of human values and inspiring the community. Children went around the densely populated Oroke village which has numerous schools in the neighbourhood, singing value-based songs – thus purifying the environment. Eye-catching placards conveyed the message to conserve the five primary resources – food, water, time, money and energy – as taught by Sathya Sai Baba. The programme was much appreciated by the community.
