On 11th June 2017, SSIO members of Paraguay delivered warm clothing and footwear to more than 500 families from Villa Florida, who were severely affected by flooding of the Tebicuary River and in dire need of help. Clothing including coats and shoes were distributed to 300 people in the San Francisco neighbourhood, 250 people in the Rosa Mística neighbourhood, and 200 children living on the streets. The residents of a home received clothes, blankets, and shoes. Members also distributed packets containing blankets, trousers, and socks to 500 families, providing about 1,000 children from these families with T-shirts and sports shoes.
