In July 2016, the SSIO organised an annual zonal children’s camp in the Volga-Ural region of Russia. The education and service camp, attended by 84 people from 16 cities, including 24 children and eight youth, offered many children’s activities, including singing, dancing, and games. A storyteller narrated fairy tales on the theme of honouring one’s parents and elders. Camp attendees visited a hospitable Tatar family and celebrated Sabantui, a spring festival, in the local tradition. The children attended classes on human values and practised what they learned. The participants expressed gratitude to Sai Baba for the opportunity to attend the camp.
