On 20th October 2015, Avatar Declaration Day, the Sathya Sai School of Kisaju celebrated by serving more than 90 needy senior ladies of the Maasai community, hailing from various villages in the Kisaju region of Kajiado County. The theme of the day was “The Greatest Form of Worship is Selfless Service.” The school’s trustees, directors, and staff received the guest elders, who were given a tour of the school grounds and welcomed by the students. The Head Teacher and the Chairman of the Board of Directors gave talks on the worldwide Sathya Sai mission of love and service. Students presented a cultural programme of human values–based poems and skits, along with sharing their experiences. During the presentations, the Maasai guests happily joined the dances, bringing colour and joy to the event. The Chief Guest, the Honourable David Nkrimpai, member of the County Assembly, pledged support for the school, declaring that only through values-based education will the Maasai community be liberated from ignorance and poverty. After lunch, the honoured guests were presented with hampers, each containing 2 kg sugar, 2 kg flour, 2 kg beans, 1 kg salt, 1 kg tomatoes, kale, a blanket, and clothes, before being escorted back to their homes.
