On 18th March 2014, the Sathya Sai Organization of Malaysia, in coordination with others, organised an interfaith gathering to pray for the victims of Malaysian Airline Flight MH370, which disappeared on 8th March 2014. About 100 people, including local leaders of the Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh and Hindu faiths, attended the event at the majestic Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, also known as the Iron Mosque, in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Dinner was served to all attendees, followed by prayers led by leaders of the religious groups, and a press conference. A government official from the Department of National Unity and Integration attended the event.
