During an India Festival held in San Jose, Costa Rica on 15th November 2015, the local Sathya Sai Centre had an opportunity to host a bookstand.

A Sathya Sai volunteer, who is an agronomist, assisted by his three sons, planted an organic garden for orphaned children in San José, Costa Rica, in June 2012. The orphans learned to tend a garden and grow their own food, along with principles of sustainability.
