Nine volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Groups of Phoenix and Prescott, Arizona, US, ranging in age from teenagers to seniors, met at the Mountain View Community Garden to revitalize the garden and strengthen community spirit. The team cleared leaves and debris, reorganized garden sheds, and repaired broken irrigation lines. Their labor of love ensured a renewed flow of water for the plots and a future bountiful harvest of vegetables for the community. Sai volunteers also fostered collaboration between the groups by sharing stories, which also bridged the age gap and fostered understanding between generations.

The project served as a powerful reminder of the impact when people unite across age and ideals, driven by shared values and a commitment to serve. This successful service project at the Mountain View Community Garden exemplifies the core values of the SSSIO.
