A recent court decision in San Salvador resulted in 75 families being evacuated from a farm where most of them have lived all their lives. With the onset of the rainy season, the displaced residents were in jeopardy, and on 19th June 2018, the SSIO of El Salvador donated 60 tin sheets to the families for temporary shelter from the rains. The tin sheets could also be reused for their next home, when it is built. The grateful families blessed the SSIO volunteers for their kindness and compassion.
