More than 50 teachers from various schools participated in a 45-day course titled, “Excellence in Application of Human Values,” organised by the Sathya Sai Institute of Peru. The course, given over 48 hours, covered the philosophy of SSEHV in an experiential, dynamic, and inspiring setting. Participants were encouraged to internalise what they learned and put it into practice through various strategies. The teachers shared experiences of transformation resulting from SSEHV courses, in terms of rethinking their vision, role, and example as teachers, as they incorporated the practice of human values in their own lives. The course was sponsored by the Postgraduate School of the National University of Education, Enrique Guzmán y Valle, which issued a certificate of completion for 10 academic credits to each participant. A closing ceremony, held in early March 2018, was attended by the Ambassador of India to Peru, Mr. M. Subbarayudu; the Director of the Indian Cultural Center, Dr. Aayam Gupta; executives of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Trust of Peru and the SSIO of Peru; and the Director of the Sathya Sai Institute of Peru, Lic. Flor de María Ramón.
