On 10th March 2018, more than 40 volunteers from the SSIO of Trinidad and Tobago organised a health and wellness fair at the Dow Village Government Primary School. The fair served about 80 people from all over the country, including youth from the school and nearby areas in need of medical services and mental care. A variety of services were provided, including dental check-ups and counselling for family planning. Days before the event, SSIO volunteers met with local people to ascertain their needs so that services could be tailored appropriately. The event ended with everyone receiving cake, ice cream, and supplies for the family.
