The Sathya Sai School of Ribeirão Preto, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, was founded on 31st March 2002, Easter Day, with the blessing of Sathya Sai Baba. Classes began in April that year, and the school has blossomed over the past 15 years, providing education in human values to hundreds of students. The school has received national attention from the educational authorities, due to the exemplary character and conduct of its students and graduates. In June 2017, the Sathya Sai School received a congratulatory message for its 15th year of service from the President of the local government, who cited the human values in the school syllabus as a tool to build the character of students. This formal recognition heralded a new chapter for the school, which seeks to instil human values in the entire local community.
