The SSIO of Malaysia observed Aradhana Mahotsavam by arranging devotional programmes at the Johor, Ampang, Kuantan, and Temerloh Sathya Sai Centres. Nearly 500 attendees paid respect to Sathya Sai Baba through musical and cultural programmes as well as skits presented by Sathya Sai children and youth. Numerous service activities were organised throughout the country, and a few reports are presented below.

The SSIO organised three blood donation camps, wherein more than 180 pints of blood were collected. Sathya Sai volunteers from the Christian, Baha’i, and Buddhist faiths, along with others, organised a camp for blood donations, and vision and diabetes screening, at Segamat, Johor. In Kulim, 25 volunteers served food to 240 children and elders at orphanages, senior homes, and nursing homes. SSIO members from the Bangsar Centre distributed food and clothing and offered medical assistance to 71 people at a home for the underprivileged in Semenyih. At the Raub Sathya Sai Centre, members provided medical screening for hypertension and diabetes, and distributed food and clothing to the needy. About 30 SSIO members from the Rawang Centre served food to patients at a leprosarium and entertained them with a variety of programmes. Devotees from the Kota Kinabalu Sathya Sai Centre served food lovingly to street children and the homeless, and also entertained patients at the Likas Hospital. SSIO volunteers opened a tailoring centre at Desa Mentari, to provide single mothers and indigent families with the means of learning a trade for earning a livelihood. Finally, Sathya Sai medical professionals and students from MAHSA University offered medical services to 130 refugees from Sri Lanka and Myanmar at the Punjabi School, Jln Haji Salleh, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
