On 18th October 2014, the SSIO of Nigeria organised a programme to entertain and serve food to 118 children from remote villages in the Ajah community, the Sathya Sai School in Lagos, and local orphanages. Sathya Sai volunteers, school teachers, and others served the children rice, beans, vegetables, samosas, and soft drinks. Devotional songs and songs based on human values were sung by the children. Each child received a package containing exercise books, pens, pencils, sharpeners, and erasers, as well as biscuits, sweets, and fruit juices.
